Plainfield genealogy group to discuss archaeology
The Family History Hounds genealogy group will meet on Thursday, September 7 from 1 to 3 pm at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library. The meeting will be held upstairs in the library's meeting rooms. Rachel Sharkey from the state's Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology will give a presentation on how studying skeletal remains can help tell the story of how our ancestors lived, including what diseases Indiana's early settlers faced.
