The Danville Public Library will hold a genealogy workshop, "Family History Research 101: The Foundation," on Saturday, August 17 at 10 am in the library's program room on the ground floor. The workshop is designed for beginning researchers, as well as for all those who want to brush up on their genealogy skills. Cindy Rutledge from the library's Indiana Room will discuss how to use genealogy forms, how to organize your information, and how to evaluate evidence and sources.

Danville library to discuss horse harnesses
The Danville library will hold a free program about horse harnesses on Saturday, July 27 at 10 am in the library's program room on the ground floor. Dr. Willis Parker, a retired veterinarian, will show some items from his collection of harnesses for draft horses.
