Photo of Pittsboro grammar school students early 1900's
This postcard photo was recently purchased on eBay and has been donated to the Archives of the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library. It is identified on the front as being of the Pittsboro grammar school, with Mr. O. Reynolds, teacher. Research has found that Oscar Reynolds was a teacher in Pittsboro schools from 1898 through about 1920 - based on the clothing, this photo was probably taken in the early 1900's.
Oscar Reynolds is presumed to be the man all the way on the left - if you can identify any of the students, please comment below!
