Mr. Calvin received a message Sunday that Elwood Stanton, formerly of the Sugar Grove community, had passed away at his home in California, last Saturday. Mr. Stanton is well known by the older residents of this community. He was a son-in-law of Addison Hadley, of Plainfield.
