Obituary for Minnie Ann (COGSWELL) DELANEY died 1977

NORTH SALEM – Minnie Ann Delaney, 89, of North Salem, died Sunday in Danville Nursing Home. Mrs. Delaney had been a patient there for several years. She was retired from the North Salem school system where she had been employed as a cook. Mrs. Delaney was a member of the North Salem Christian Church. Born November 17, 1887, in Elizaville, she was the daughter of Stacy and Nancy Ann Robinson Cogswell. She married William Delaney in 1905. He preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, William of Indianapolis; three daughters, Bessie Myers of North Salem and Bernice and Mary Gasper both of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Porter Funeral Home at North Salem with the Rev. Earl Davis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at North Salem. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
