According to a legal notice, in January 1969 there was a petition filed by James Tisdale and Ethel Tisdale in the Hendricks County Superior Court (case # A 69-1) to adopt Ramona Rose Garcia, a minor. Her biological mother, Arlene Garcia Roscoe, was listed as being a resident of Taylor, Michigan; her biological father, Joseph Garcia, was listed as whereabouts unknown. The case was scheduled to be heard in court on March 28, 1969.
