Mattie PERSLEY granted divorce (1906)

As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Civil Order Book Volume 51 (March 1906 - February 1907), in October 1906 Mattie Persley was granted a divorce from Benjamin Persley (case #7769). Benjamin had been served with the divorce papers in Floyd County, Indiana but failed to appear in court. Mattie was also given custody of their children: George Persley (age 5), Thomas Persley (age 3) and Theodore Persley (age 1).
