George DEMPSEY pleads guilty to forgery (1906)
As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Civil Order Book Volume 51 (March 1906 - February 1907), in September 1906 George Dempsey (age 27) pled guilty to the crime of forgery (case #4611). He was fined $10 and sentenced to the Indiana State Reformatory in Jeffersonville for a term of 2 to 14 years.
