According to a legal notice, in October 1985 Kenneth Ray Cooper filed a petition in the Hendricks County Circuit Court (case # C 10 85-364) to change his name from Kenneth Ray Cooper to Kenneth Ray Dietz. The petition was scheduled to be heard in court on December 20, 1985.
