21 Hendricks County probate packets from 1834-1902 digitized

An 1866 application for guardianship of Alice, Louisa C., Samuel S. and Harriett J. Adams.

The Indiana Genealogical Society's website recently added 21 digitized probate packets for Hendricks County for free viewing.

This batch of probate packets spans 1834 through 1902 (as well as one stray packet from 1931). They were digitized by volunteers at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne.

Plainfield genealogy group to discuss Indiana land records

The Family History Hounds genealogy group will meet on Thursday, June 1 from 1 to 3 pm at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library.
