Adoption of Rechaby Jewell WHITE (1942)

According to a Hendricks County Probate Court docket sheet, in June 1942 a petition was filed by Owen McAllister (case #6708) to adopt Rechaby Jewell White, an adult. The petition was granted, and her name was changed to Rechaby Jewell McAllister.

Judy NEWLIN and Larry WHITE marriage annulled (1964)

As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Order Book 111 (July 1963 - October 1964), on August 8, 1964, Judy Carol White's petition for an annulment of her marriage to Larry Dean White (case # C64-132) was granted. The court order noted that she was only 15 years old at the time of the marriage, and thus was unable of entering into a legal contract.

NOTE: Hendricks County marriage records show that the marriage of Judy Carol Newlin and Larry Dean White occurred on 6 September 1962, where she listed her age as 19 (birthdate August 27, 1943). On 8 August 1964, she married Richard Melvin Castiglione, having gotten a waiver of the 3-day waiting period. On the 1964 marriage application, she listed her age as 17 (birthdate as August 27, 1947). She included an affidavit from her parents consenting to the marriage.

Imogene WHITE granted divorce (1948)

As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Civil Order Book Volume 97 (March 1948 - April 1949), in October 1948 Imogene White was granted a divorce from James White (case #18041). Imogene was given custody of their daughter, Willadean White (age 1 year, 5 months) and James, who was serving in the U.S. Army, was ordered to take $42 a month from his military pay for child support.

Mary J. WHITE granted divorce (1906)

As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Civil Order Book Volume 51 (March 1906 - February 1907), in June 1906 Mary J. White was granted a divorce from Glyndon M. White (case #7701). Mary J. was also given custody of their son, Charles Lotan White.
