According to a legal notice, in February 1966, Charlotte H. Wright was petitioning the Hendricks County Circuit Court (case # A 65-22) to adopt Randy Carl Wright. His biological mother, Carolyn Wright, was listed as whereabouts unknown. The petition was to be heard in court on April 4, 1966.

--Charles Howell attended the 1893-1894 and 1894-1895 school years, first as a senior in the Preparatory Department (studying Science), then as a freshman in the Collegiate Department.
--Elmer Masten attended during the 1890-1891 school year, as a senior in the Preparatory Department (studying Science).

--John Robert George attended during the 1891-1892 and 1892-1893 school years, as a junior and then a senior in the Preparatory Department (studying Science).

Adoption of Gertrude WRIGHT (1917)

As mentioned in Hendricks County Circuit Court Civil Order Book Volume 64 (January 1917 - October 1917), in March 1917 Charles C. Walls and wife Ada A. Walls of Danville filed a petition to adopt Gertrude Wright (case #9802). Gertrude was 34 years old (born 25 December 1882) and her mother was dead; her father Edward D. Wright had not been heard from for 4 years. The court granted the petition and changed her name to Gertrude Wright Walls.
