The Indiana Genealogical Society has been working on preserving and digitizing the contents of Hendricks County probate packets as part of its Records Preservation Project. Among the items they've found: letterhead from 1892 (shown below) containing a receipt from a department store in Danville called The County Fair. This store was believed to have been on the northwest side of the courthouse square.
