Laura (RAGAN) LEWIS dies in Los Angeles (1920)

DAUGHTER OF MAJOR RAGAN
The death of Mrs. Laura Ragan Lewis, daughter of Major Ragan who was long a well-known resident of Hendricks County, occurred in Los Angeles, California, on May 4th. Burial took place in Hollywood Cemetery in that city. Mrs. Lewis was born in Hendricks County and will be remembered by friends who knew her in childhood. Her later years were spent in Kansas City and in Los Angeles. She is survived by a son and daughter, one grandson, two sisters, Mrs. D.H. Huston, of San Diego, Calif., and Miss Nannie Ragan, of Los Angeles; and one brother, Gilbert L. Ragan, of Independence, Mo.
