Adoption of James Ogden FERREL (1936)
According to a Hendricks County Probate Court docket sheet, in May 1936 Paul O. and Laura Ferrel filed a petition (case #6235) to adopt James Ogden Ferrel, a minor child. His mother, Barbara Wilson, filed her written consent, and Walter Mentzer was his "alleged father." The petition was granted.
