Adoption of Mary Elizabeth HADLEY (1938)

According to a Hendricks County Probate Court docket sheet, in March 1938 Amie M. Hadley filed a petition (case #6383) to adopt Mary Elizabeth Hadley, age 22. Her mother, Bernice Hadley, was dead; her father, Walter E. Hadley, was Amie's husband, and he gave his consent. The petition was granted.
